What Have I Been Doing?? Fall-Winter 2014
Well, it's been a totally crazy and busy and FUN-FILLED Fall!! I've traveled with Coolin, and Jiggernaut, played with The Quibble Brothers, with Ed Rogers and Kathleen Jackson as the Ed Rogers Trio, played in a few Trinity Hall sessions, took part in the O'Flaherty Irish Music Retreat (for my birthday!!), and generally had a WONDERFUL time!! With Coolin, back in early September we traveled back to Jackson, Mississippi for the CelticFest there, and of course, as we always are


Trip to Weston
In April (actually, Easter weekend), I joined Jiggernaut on the road for a weekend at the famous O'Malley's 1842 Irish Pub, part of the Weston Brewing Company, in Weston, Missouri, just to the northwest of Kansas City. The pub is "famous" because it is located inside a CAVE!!! On the outside, it just looks like a regular pub front, with windows, the name across the top and all that. JIGGERNAUT INVADES NTIF!!!
As mentioned in various places, Linda is the newest member of the rockin' Celtic Rock/Blues band JIGGERNAUT. Linda has been friends with many of the band members for a number of years, and after her very first rehearsal with the band, it was evident that it was going to be a very good, comfortable fit. Linda joins Jiggernaut!
Following a bit of a break after parting with Needfire back in April 2013, Linda was asked to "audition" for Jiggernaut back in October, and possibly join them for NTIF (North Texas Irish Festival) just to see how it felt.
